Connecting DVR and NVR devices to the SIWENIX can only be done through IP network. Therefore the designing, sizing, establishing and operating of the network is critical for the system to work properly.
If it's possible, the network of the diplays should be physically separated from the IP cameras, and other systems' networks. This guarantees minimal delay in the system.
It is highly recommended to build a Gigabit network with minimal intermediate connection and conversion points. The sizing of the network depends of the number of pictures to display, not the number of channels, recorders and SIWENIX hosts.
