Connecting DVR and NVR devices to the SIWENIX, can be done only through IP network. Therefore the designing, sizeing, establishing and operating of the network is critical for the system to work properly.
If it's possible, then the network of the diplays should be physically separated from the IP cameras, and other systems network. This guarantees minimal delay in the system.
It is highly recommended to build a Gigabit network with minimal intermediate connection and conversion points. The sizeing of the network depends of the number of pictures to display, independently from the number of channels, recorders and SIWENIX hosts.
