Intrusion detection system

Data point hierarchy

Once you have configured the intrusion detector device as described, you need to make sure it is indeed connected. You can check this by clicking on the "Device" section, (it is shown in the imige). In the lower right corner of the image, if everything is correct, you can see the current message that the device is connected.

Commands and treatments

The following image shows the zones that can be selected and the operations that can be performed on them.

1) Zones
You can choose which zone, which unit you want to control or inspect.
2) Treatments
You can see what states the given zone can have, and you can simulate one of these states.
3) Commands
The command you want to select can be found in this section, and you can issue the command to the selected zone by clicking the button to the left of the command name.

Status of groups and zones

We have the option to manage container, partition and zone separately, and we can create groups. To do this, we first need to click on the plus icon to the right of the "Information" window.

After clicking the plus icon, select "Intrusion" from the popup menu and then the status of groups, zones, or groups and zones. Since we want to examine the whole structure in this case, I chose the option "Group & zone states". It is also possible to issue the commands discussed so far in this section, but you can also see several different information.

1) Show in physical hierarchy
If you click on the icon, you can see where that device is located in the physical hierarchy.
2) Commands
The commands you have seen before can also be issued from here.
3) Status
You can see the possible status, such as shutdown.
4) Name of the partition
5) Name of the zone
6) Name of the container
